After collaborating with Mindset Works for over ten years and seeing the transformative results in her classroom, Jenn Maichin couldn’t and wouldn’t let growth mindset go. Understanding that her school district was always looking for new growth opportunities, Jenn shouted from the rooftops about the benefits of growth mindset. In 2017, the district agreed, and made the intentional decision to embed growth mindset practices throughout every classroom in Mineola.

Carol Dweck Receives CASBS-SAGE Award

Each year the Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences and SAGE Publishing present the SAGE-CASBS Award, recognizing outstanding achievement in the understanding and advancement of the behavioral and social sciences as applied to pressing social issues. This year the recipient is Dr. Carol Dweck, whose career has been devoted to understanding how to help people fulfill their untapped potential. Dr. Dweck will deliver a public talk at CASBS on March 14, 2019. If you’re in the Bay Area, register to attend!
